in this there's a person who name is salander and i don't know if she solved the mathematics question or not so i'm confused.|||Salander does figure out the solution, however, Stieg Larsson never tells us what she figured it out to be before she herself forgets what the solution was, due to her brain injury. So, yeah, she figured it out but the reader doesn't know what it is.
