Age Group for Books.?

What age group would you put Stieg Larsson's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" in? Is it a high school or college level book?|||They have explicit language, perverse violence, and both normal and violent sexual content, as well as themes meant for adults. I wouldn't really put an age group, since I believe there are high schoolers who could handle that, but it is definitely not for children or for anyone sensitive to those themes.|||From what Rebecca says is in the book, it sounds Adult to me (Mystery). Young Adult can only go so far when it comes to sexual situations, so it depends on how explicit the sexual references are; if it's anything like adult romance then it's definitely an adult book.Young Adult can include sexual situations and cursing, but publishers usually do not allow it to be very explicit.
